Actor Cha Hak-yeon captivated viewers with his brilliantly comedic acting.

Cha Hak-yeon delivered a delightful action scene in the second episode of MBC-TV's Friday-Saturday drama 'Labor Attorney No Mu-jin' (written by Kim Bo-tong, Yoo Seung-hee, directed by Im Soon-rye), which aired on May 30th. He plays Go Gyeon-woo, a former reporter turned YouTuber in the series.

In the episode, Gyeon-woo went undercover at a factory. His mission: to unearth the truth behind the wrongful death of Min-wook (played by Park Su-oh), who died during on-site training. He began his struggle by approaching Ni-mal (played by Anupam), a foreign worker.

After his identity was exposed, he found himself surrounded by dozens of factory workers. However, he quickly demonstrated quick thinking, utilizing various topographical features within the factory, such as drums, rails, and tow trucks, to make a dramatic escape.

Cha Hak-yeon brought subtle humor with his comedic action performance. The scene where he evades multiple employees was a highlight. He executed physical comedy using his long limbs and elicited laughter with his uninhibited expressions.

Regarding the factory scene, he explained, "The script only described it in about five lines, so I discussed it extensively with the director. I hoped Gyeon-woo's unique charm would serve as a refreshing, carbonated boost to the drama's energy."

He also hinted at his future endeavors in the series. "Gyeon-woo will go undercover in various places, starting with the factory. Please look forward to the sly yet delightful charm of 'Clear-Eyed Madness' Gyeon-woo," he urged.

Meanwhile, 'Labor Attorney No Mu-jin' is a comedic fantasy action drama. It depicts the chaotic process of a labor attorney, Mu-jin, who can see ghosts, solving labor issues. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST.
