NMIXX’s Sullyoon Assures Fans Following Back Injury Concerns During Bangkok Concert

Sullyoon of the K-pop girl group NMIXX has personally reached out to fans to clear up misunderstandings and offer reassurance regarding her recent back injury during the group's concert in Bangkok.

Taking to the fan communication platform Bubble, Sullyoon detailed the timeline of the incident: "I think I overexerted myself during the dress rehearsal, because it started hurting from then on," she explained. "When I woke up the next morning, the pain had gotten a bit worse."

Prioritizing the Stage Despite Medical Advice

Sullyoon explicitly clarified that performing was her own decision, dispelling any potential concerns regarding the agency's management. "Both the company and the doctor strongly recommended that I take a rest, but I really wanted to be on stage, even if it was just a little bit," she added. "I told them that if it got too painful, I would sit down."

Despite her determination, the back pain persisted throughout the event. Fan-captured footage from the live concert showed Sullyoon holding her waist and visibly tearing up due to the discomfort. Ultimately, she had to perform the remainder of the setlist while seated.

"I realized that if I kept pushing myself to stay standing, it might negatively affect the rest of our upcoming tour dates. That's why I decided to perform sitting down," Sullyoon shared, adding a final comforting note to her followers: "Please don't worry too much."

Moving Forward with the World Tour

NMIXX is currently in the midst of their milestone first world tour, NMIXX 1ST WORLD TOUR 'EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER'. Following their stop in Thailand, the group is scheduled to continue their global run in Singapore on June 20.
