TWICE’s Dahyun to Star in Youth Romance Film 'Clouds Roll By'

 Dahyun Secures Next Silver Screen Leading Role

TWICE member Dahyun is expanding her acting portfolio with another lead film role. Production company npio Entertainment confirmed to Dispatch on September 22 that the K-pop artist has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming movie Clouds Roll By (directed by Choi Sun-min).

The project is framed as a youth romance following the journey of an art student and a student-athlete. Though initially constantly at odds with one another, the two characters gradually become each other's safe haven.

Dahyun will portray the art student Oh Gu-reum. Actor Cha Woo-min has been cast opposite her as the varsity athlete Kim Jun-san, setting up a fresh dynamic between the two rising screen talents.

Building a Stepping-Stone Acting Career

This casting marks the latest step in Dahyun's growing career as an actress. Since stepping into acting last year, the idol has systematically expanded her filmography across multiple film and television projects.

Her previous screen credits include the Korean adaptation of You Are the Apple of My Eye, the sports feature Sprint, and the drama series Love Me. Through these roles, she has continuously built credit as a viable acting idol beyond her established music career.
