EXO's Kai has once again proven his big heart—this time by helping those affected by devastating wildfires in Korea's southeastern region.
🔥 A Helping Hand for Fire Victims
On April 2, Kai donated ₩50 million KRW (approximately $37,000 USD) to the Community Chest of Korea (a.k.a. Love Fruit). The donation will go toward emergency relief efforts, including housing and living support for wildfire victims.
Kai shared a heartfelt message:
"I send deep comfort to those who lost their homes and are enduring tough days in temporary shelters. I'm also sincerely grateful to everyone working tirelessly on the frontlines."
🤝 A Longstanding Commitment to Giving Back
Kai's charitable acts aren't new. He previously donated to COVID-19 relief efforts and also participated in a voice donation project to help produce tactile books for the visually impaired. His ongoing commitment to social good continues to inspire fans around the world.
🎶 Meanwhile, a Comeback Is Coming
In addition to his donation, Kai is gearing up for a major return. His 4th mini album Wait On Me will drop on April 21, along with his first solo showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul on the same day.
