MAIN HEADLINE: CRAVITY's Hyeongjun to Become Weathercaster on JTBC News

Morning News Debut as One-Day Weather Anchor

CRAVITY member Hyeongjun is taking on a new role in broadcasting as a special one-day weathercaster.

According to a statement from Starship Entertainment on October 1, the idol will appear on JTBC's morning news program Morning & on the morning of October 2. During the broadcast's concluding weather segment, he will deliver live meteorological updates to viewers.

In addition to presenting the day's forecast, Hyeongjun will introduce CRAVITY's new release, sonorous. The appearance marks his official debut on a television news program since entering the entertainment industry.

Expanding Horizons Beyond the Stage

The upcoming broadcast addition reflects the performer's continuous efforts to diversify his career across various media platforms. He has previously served as a radio DJ and music show host, building a track record as an engaging presenter.

Recently, the artist also launched his personal YouTube channel, Round Song Hyeongjun, further connecting with audiences through self-produced content.

"Hyeongjun has been active across diverse fields including music, variety programs, hosting, and digital content," stated Starship Entertainment. "Please look forward to seeing what new side of himself he will showcase."

Why this matters: In South Korea, K-pop idols occasionally appear on mainstream morning news programs as special weather anchors to demonstrate versatility and promote new music releases to a broader public audience.

Upcoming Group Performances

Following his special broadcast appearance, Hyeongjun will rejoin his bandmates for scheduled group activities. CRAVITY is set to perform at the Nol Festival at the KINTEX exhibition center in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, on October 17.
