ATEEZ's leader Hongjoong is once again using his voice for good—this time to raise awareness for a global charity run.

On April 17 and 19, international NGO World Vision released promotional videos for the upcoming 2025 Global 6K for Water marathon via its official YouTube channel. Hongjoong stars in both clips, highlighting the cause and encouraging participation.

🏃‍♂️ "6KM = Clean Water"

In the first video, Hongjoong explains the campaign's mission:

"When we walk or run 6 kilometers, we're giving the gift of clean water."

The number isn't random—it's inspired by the average distance children in parts of Africa must walk daily to access water.

🎥 A Candid Interview with Hongjoong

In the second video, Hongjoong reflects on his recent ATEEZ tour, his personal relationship with running, and the mental clarity it brings:

"Running helps me organize my thoughts. It gives me energy and even sparks new creative ideas."

He adds,

"The Global 6K isn't just about walking or running—it's about saving lives."

🌍 A History of Giving

Hongjoong first partnered with World Vision in 2022 through their Dream Support Project. Since then, he's donated to clean water initiatives in Zambia and supported underprivileged youth in Korea. In May 2023, his total contributions exceeded 100 million KRW, earning him a spot in World Vision's Bob Pierce Honor Club—a group recognizing high-level donors.

Kickoff: June 21 at Seoul's Peace Plaza in Sangam World Cup Park
