Singer Woods (Cho Seung-yeon) achieved a reverse run while serving in the military. 'Drowning', released in April 2023, is sweeping the domestic charts.

Woods ranked fourth on the Melon Daily Chart with 'Drawning' on the 8th. After breaking its own highest ranking in third place on the 6th, it has maintained its top ranking.

'Drawning' is a song from the 5th mini album 'OO-LI'. Woods wrote and composed the lyrics himself. It is a song that honestly expresses the grief after losing a loved one.

The reaction erupted during the Armed Forces Day special stage of 'Immortal Masterpiece' aired in October last year. Woods' singing 'Drawning' while wearing a military uniform captivated listeners. It was well received as a hidden masterpiece.

At the time, "Drawning" was a song that was out of the charts. However, as it went viral among listeners, it began to run backwards. Since then, it has been steadily rising and climbed to the top 5.

Meanwhile, Woods is active in the Army and is fulfilling his national defense duty. He is currently serving in the Army Military Band. He is scheduled to be discharged on July 21.
