Producer El Capitxn has reaffirmed his significant musical influence with a string of recent successes.
El Capitxn recently produced the first mini-album, 'WHO WE ARE,' for rookie group AHOO. The album sold approximately 360,000 copies in its first week alone.
Chart-Topping Successes
The album also achieved strong chart performance, ranking No. 1 on the album charts for the first week of July. Its title track, "Rendezvous," climbed into the Top 100 on major Korean charts like Melon and Bugs.
El Capitxn has successfully transitioned projects from the SBS-TV audition program 'Universe League' into successful debuts, with artists he produced consecutively finding success from the program.
He previously produced PLAVE's "WAY 4 LUV" and tripleS's "Girls Never Die," now leading AHOO to success as well.
Hitmaker's Extensive Portfolio
His impressive portfolio includes composing hit songs for numerous K-Pop artists, such as Psy's "That That," IU's "Eight," and SEVENTEEN Wonwoo's "99.9%." He has also collaborated with NCT and ZEROBASEONE.
Meanwhile, El Capitxn is set to continue his DJ activities in Japan and at the 'Waterbomb' festival stages, showcasing his versatility as both a producer and a DJ.
