Singer Jeon Somi has officially started the countdown to her comeback.
The Black Label released the concept poster for Jeon Somi's second EP, "Chaotic & Confused," on its official website today, July 28th. The poster's unique art direction immediately heightened anticipation. Somi is pictured sitting inside a seashell alongside a pearl, creating a visual that blends reality and fantasy.
An agency official stated, "Through her new EP, Jeon Somi has taken on unique and new musical challenges," emphasizing, "Please look forward to her limitless transformation."
Somi had previously pre-released the single "Extra" on July 7th. The song sensually depicts the feeling of being on the sidelines and having to linger on the periphery of someone else's life. The Black Label noted, "Jeon Somi built a reputation as a 'teen queen' and 'summer queen' with her cheerful and lively music. She has successfully showcased a new transformation."
Somi held her solo fan meeting, "Chaos in Seoul," on July 19th, where she demonstrated her consistent skills with a variety of performances and spent quality time with her fans. Starting with the Seoul show, she will now meet her global fanbase with fan meeting tours in Tokyo on August 1st and Osaka on August 3rd, signaling her readiness to captivate audiences in Japan.
Jeon Somi's new album will be released on major music streaming sites on August 11th at 6 PM KST.
