Actress Kim Yoo-jung is set to undergo a shocking transformation in her next project.

On September 8th, TVING announced that its new original series, Dear X, will be released on November 6th. The series is a crime melodrama and suspense thriller. It tells the story of a woman wearing a mask who escapes hell and climbs to the top, along with the "X's" who she cruelly crushes on her way up.

A launch poster was also unveiled, featuring the English title "Dear X" in striking red letters against a white background. The poster offers a glimpse of Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung), whose chilling gaze is captured through a torn gap, hinting at her ability to conceal her true nature while looking into the hearts of others.

Kim Yoo-jung takes on the role of Ah-jin, a top actress who overcame a painful childhood to reach a high but precarious position. The role is expected to be a dramatic and fatal shift in her acting career.

The series is co-directed by Lee Eung-bok, known for hit dramas such as Sweet Home, Goblin, and Descendants of the Sun, and Park So-hyun. The script was written by Choi Ja-won, who previously won the top prize in a KBS one-act drama competition, and Park Ji-woon, a webtoon writer.

Dear X has also been invited to the "On Screen" section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival. The series will be available on TVING starting November 6th.
