BOYNEXTDOOR is set to present a multifaceted sound, teasing genres like swing, acid jazz, hip-hop, and rock for their new release.
On the 17th at 10 PM KST, the group unveiled the music video teaser for "Hollywood Action," the title track of their 5th mini-album, THE ACTION, on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel.
The teaser, filmed in Chicago, USA, showed the members dancing freely on a movie set. The vibe exuded confidence and ambition, befitting a Hollywood star.
"Hollywood Action" is characterized by a prominent swing rhythm and vibrant brass sounds, emphasizing an exciting and cheerful tempo. Members Jaehyun, Taesan, Woonhak, and Leehan participated in the song's creation.
BOYNEXTDOOR is currently promoting with a film production crew concept, where the members act as part of "Team THE ACTION." Their marketing narrative centers on the goal of submitting their work to the Chicago Film Festival.
The mini-album THE ACTION contains four tracks, including the ballad "You Know" (Itjana), the hip-hop track "JAM!," the rock genre song "Bathroom," and the acid jazz track "Live In Paris."
BOYNEXTDOOR will release their 5th mini-album, THE ACTION, on the 20th at 6 PM KST. They will hold a comeback showcase at the KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, at 8 PM on the same day, where they will unveil the new songs for the first time.
