This time, it is "knife-like" synchronized choreography (kalgunmu).
Hearts to Hearts is expanding its musical universe. The group is showcasing new charms with a chic concept, transforming everything from their visuals to their group choreography. With a new sound, they aim to solidify their position as a leading girl group.

The focus of the new album was the sharp, synchronized dance. Moving away from bouncy, light choreography, they emphasized powerful, angle-focused dancing. They worked hard to utilize diverse formations to highlight the individual charms of each member.

Jiwoo previewed the release, stating, "Hearts to Hearts' color lies in honestly expressing the emotions felt by teenagers. This new album captures those emotions even more richly."

Hearts to Hearts held a showcase commemorating the release of their first mini-album, 'FOCUS,' on October 20th at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

The new album contains a total of six tracks, including the title track, 'FOCUS,' along with 'Apple Pie,' 'Flutter,' 'Blue Moon,' 'Pretty Please,' and 'STYLE.'

'FOCUS' is a house genre track with an addictive, repeating piano riff. Jiwoo commented, "This is a genre we're attempting for the first time. We want to show a cool and chic charm that is different from our previous image."

Stella added, "When I first heard it, I felt like I was under a spell. We put a lot of thought into presenting a new side of ourselves. We are ready to deliver a stage full of confidence."

Producer Kenzie participated in the lyrics. Yuha explained, "The lyrics express a mind completely focused on the other person. It also carries the meaning that 'everyone will become focused on Hearts to Hearts.'"

Fans can also look forward to Hearts to Hearts' unique synchronized dance. Ian emphasized, "We actively utilized the strengths of a multi-member group. Diverse formations and unit choreographies are incorporated throughout. Please look forward to it."

The music video portrays the world of teenage girls, with the members appearing as classmates who build friendships and sometimes compete. It unfolds a story unique to that age group.

Yuha hinted, "We acted out a situation where all the attention is centered on each other (the friends). The music video follows the complex and subtle emotional lines felt while navigating school life together."

A-na, Jiwoo, and Yuha even took on action scenes. In a confrontation scene among the three, they perform a magic battle, a spectacular moment reminiscent of the Harry Potter movies.

A-na smiled, "It was my first time filming with wires, so I was nervous. But it was more fun than I thought, so I was able to do well. I'm satisfied with the high-quality scene that resulted."

The B-side tracks continue the high-teen sensibility. Ian particularly recommended 'Flutter,' explaining, "It's a song about confessing first to someone. The nine-member harmony is beautifully incorporated."

Hearts to Hearts has rapidly grown in just eight months since their debut, releasing two albums and performing at various concerts domestically and internationally. What changes have the members felt themselves?

Stella shared, "I've become able to enjoy the stage while engaging with the audience." Jiwoo noted, "I've definitely gained composure. I think we're now able to express our individual personalities on stage."

Their growth stems from their earnest desire for the stage. One testament to this is their sharp choreography. Yeon revealed the secret, saying, "Our main dancer, Juun unnie (older sister), meticulously helps us match the details."

Ian received significant attention for the 'hip-sway choreography' challenge from the group's previous track, 'The Chase.' "I am just grateful that people recognize my effort," she added. "Please look forward to the chorus choreography for 'FOCUS' as well."

Their passion was evident until the end. A-na passionately declared, "We definitely want to achieve number one on music shows and charts with this new album," concluding, "More than anything, we hope our sincerity for the stage reaches the public."
