ATEEZ's leader Hongjoong marked May 5, Korea's Children's Day, with a heartfelt gesture—donating ₩25 million KRW (~$18,000 USD) to support five underprivileged children in pursuing their dreams.

🎁 Donation to World Vision's 'Dream Wings Club'

On May 8, international NGO World Vision announced that Hongjoong had contributed ₩25 million to its Dream Wings Club program, a domestic initiative supporting children and youth with aspirations in specific fields.

Each of the five selected children will receive ₩5 million KRW in personalized support to help them chase their dreams—whether in academics, arts, or sports.

🗣️ Hongjoong's Message of Hope

"While joy on Children's Day is important, I hope that joy becomes a lifelong source of courage," Hongjoong shared.

"I wanted to give five children the wings they need to fly."

He added:

"I'm touched by the mission of the Dream Wings Club and promise to continue supporting the growth of children everywhere."

🌍 A Consistent Legacy of Giving

Hongjoong first connected with World Vision in 2022, donating to the Dream Wings program.

He later participated in global clean water and virtual learning campaigns benefiting communities in Zambia.

In May 2023, he supported youth caregivers in Korea.

He is also a recognized member of World Vision's high-donor group, the Bob Pierce Honor Club.
