ILLIT has officially commenced their comeback countdown.
BELIFT LAB officially announced on the 19th via their official website, "ILLIT will release their 3rd mini-album, 'bomb,' on June 16th."
'bomb' features a distinct message as its central theme. It encapsulates the story of ILLIT expanding their world with their unique attitude through interaction with you (the listener/fans).
Following their first mini-album which sang about their true selves, and their second mini-album dedicated to the feeling of liking someone, they are now actively building relationships.
An official emphasized, "Please look forward to ILLIT's new image, where they are charting their own path with quirky, lively emotions and a bold charm."
ILLIT simultaneously made a significant impact on the global market with their debut last year. Their debut song, "Magnetic," set unprecedented records for a K-pop debut track, including the fastest time to achieve certain milestones.
They successfully entered major charts such as the US Billboard Main Song Chart 'Hot 100' and the UK Official 'Singles Top 100', sweeping various global charts.
Their second mini-album, 'Cherish,' also received considerable affection. They secured a total of 13 awards, including seven Rookie of the Year titles at major music awards ceremonies in Korea, the United States, and Japan.
Their strong performance continues this year. In February, they released the Japanese movie theme song "Almond Chocolate," which also achieved success by charting in reverse on local charts.
This track reached number 10 on the Oricon Chart Weekly Streaming Ranking (for the week of March 31st to April 6th), marking the highest record for a K-pop girl group song released this year.
ILLIT is scheduled to hold their first fan concert, 'ILLIT Glitter Day in Seoul,' at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on June 7th and 8th.
Pre-sale tickets for both sessions of the fan meeting were completely sold out, underscoring ILLIT's fervent popularity.
