Red Velvet sub-unit Irene & Seulgi have returned with an upgraded narrative.
Irene & Seulgi introduced the b-side tracks from their second mini-album, 'TILT,' on the 19th. The new album contains a total of six songs, featuring various genres, including the title track "TILT."
The tracks are crafted to penetrate the album's core message that the more one is shaken, the more they shine and grow. Among them is the b-side track "What's Your Problem?".
This song offers a modern reinterpretation of 90s hip-hop R&B sounds. It conveys a cool attitude and self-assurance, showing a refusal to be swayed by others who judge based on their own standards.
The track stands out with Irene & Seulgi's refreshing vocal chemistry. The synergy is further enhanced by Julie from KISS OF LIFE, who participated in the rap featuring.
"Irresistible" is an R&B pop dance track. Its rhythmic acoustic guitar sound and captivating vocals create a mystical atmosphere.
The lyrics describe the process of becoming captivated by an attractive individual. It concludes with a bold yet lovely twist, revealing that the object of fascination is, in fact, oneself.
"Girl Next Door" is characterized by cheerful and rhythmic drum sounds. The song serves as a tribute to all the "Girl Next Door" of this era who are confidently forging their own paths.
Meanwhile, Irene & Seulgi's second mini-album, 'TILT,' is set to be released on major music streaming sites at 6 PM KST on May 26th.
