BTS member Jin has sent an 'echo' across the world, with his new album topping global music charts.
Jin released his second solo mini-album, 'Echo,' on May 16th. The album immediately ascended to the top of both the 'Worldwide iTunes Album' and 'European iTunes Album' charts on the same day.
He is currently achieving unprecedented results, having reached the No. 1 spot on the iTunes 'Top Album' chart in a total of 63 countries and regions (as of May 17th). This includes major markets such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and France.
The title track, "Don't Say You Love Me," also resonated with audiences both domestically and internationally, simultaneously topping the 'Worldwide iTunes Song' and 'European iTunes Song' charts.
This song swept the iTunes 'Top Song' charts in a total of 61 countries and regions, securing the top position in territories including France, Japan, Australia, Russia, Thailand, Brazil, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
B-side tracks are also proving popular, with "Nothing Without Your Love" ranking second, and "Rope It" and "Background" placing third and fourth, respectively.
Interest in the new music video is also high. The video, featuring Jin and actress Shin Se-kyung, charted in the top 10 of YouTube's 'Trending Videos' in a total of 26 countries and regions.
'Echo' portrays how various moments in life spread like different forms of 'echoes'. Through the album's seven tracks, Jin expressed emotions that are universally experienced.
Meanwhile, Jin is scheduled to hold the event 'Don't Say You Love Me at Seongsu' at Anderson C in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul on the 17th, where he will unveil the new song's performance for the first time.
