K-pop icon Kim Jaejoong recently shared a shocking experience: his Kakao Pay account was hacked, and the hacker even changed his password.
🔐 "The Hacker Changed My Password" — Jaejoong Slams System Loopholes
On the fan communication platform From, Kim Jaejoong revealed that someone had gained unauthorized access to a Kakao Pay account registered under his name and changed the password.
He explained the frustrating aftermath: "I kept getting redirected from the customer service center to the securities help desk, then to the security incident center. I was on the phone for an hour, but nothing got resolved."
The singer pointed out a serious flaw in the system. "They told me I need the changed password to delete the account. How am I supposed to know the hacker's password?" he wrote, clearly frustrated.
⛔ No Financial Loss, But A Frightening Wake-Up Call
After trying for almost an entire day, Kim Jaejoong was finally able to delete the hacked account. Fortunately, no financial damage was reported, but the situation could have easily escalated.
He later wrote, "It was such a terrifying day," expressing relief that things didn't take a worse turn.
