The 20th Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival kicked off its opening ceremony today, July 8th, at the Busan Cinema Center. The festival will run until July 19th.
Choi Myung-bin attended the event with her film, 'The Girl Who Carried a Carrier' (directed by Yoon Shim-kyung). She appeared on the red carpet in an all-black mini-dress, captivating attention with her striking blue eyes and pure, enchanting visuals.
Portraying a Complex Character
'The Girl Who Carried a Carrier' tells the story of Young-sun, abandoned by her adoptive parents. The narrative unfolds as she stays at the home of her tennis training partner, Soo-ah (played by Moon Seung-ah), wishing to become a true family with them.
Choi Myung-bin portrays Young-sun, a mature and confident character despite being abandoned by her parents. Her delicate portrayal of the character's unstable psychology has earned her critical acclaim.
Meanwhile, Choi Myung-bin is also anticipating the release of her film, 'Sisterhood' (directed by Yoon Eun-kyung). 'Sisterhood' was previously selected as an entry for the 'Fantastic 7' section at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.
