Actors Jeon So-nee and Lee Yoo-mi have captured a global audience with their gripping collaboration in the new series 'You Killed Me.'

The two stars appear in the Netflix series 'You Killed Me' (written by Kim Hyo-jung, directed by Lee Jung-rim), which was released on the 7th. The story centers on the events that unfold after a domestic violence victim decides to commit murder.

According to the latest figures (dated the 19th) from Netflix's official site Tudum, 'You Killed Me' has claimed the No. 1 spot on the Global Top 10 Series (Non-English) chart. This marks a seven-spot jump from its 8th-place ranking the previous week.

The series recorded 7.8 million views (the number of viewing hours divided by the runtime) over the past week. Its total viewing time of 65 million hours was the highest among all non-English and English series globally.

'You Killed Me' also ranked in the Top 10 in 71 countries/regions worldwide, hitting the No. 1 spot in 20 countries, including South Korea, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Egypt, Morocco, and El Salvador.

The series is an adaptation of the Japanese novel Naomi and Kanako. Jeon So-nee plays Eun-soo, who carries trauma from paternal violence, while Lee Yoo-mi plays Hee-soo, who is physically abused by her husband.

In related Netflix chart news, the SBS-TV drama 'Kissing for No Reason!' ranked 3rd in the Global Top 10 Series (Non-English) category, and the Netflix variety show 'Physical: Asia' was ranked 8th.
