Seungkwan, a member of the global K-pop group SEVENTEEN, has made a generous donation of 10 million KRW to support abandoned dogs.

The news was revealed on January 12th when the Jeju Hallim Shelter, a facility for abandoned animals, shared a sponsorship certificate on its official Instagram account. The certificate confirms a donation of 10 million KRW made in Seungkwan's name.

The act of kindness appears to be linked to Seungkwan's recent professional activities. He recently participated in Elle Korea’s "Hello Little Love" project alongside his pet dog, Bookkeu. The project was designed to promote the beauty of coexisting with animals.

According to reports, Seungkwan reached out to the Jeju-based shelter to offer financial support shortly after the photoshoot. The shelter expressed its deep appreciation, stating, "We are truly grateful to Seungkwan. This precious contribution will be used thoughtfully for the care and well-being of the animals at our shelter."
