K-pop sensation TWS is gearing up to capture the hearts of Japanese fans once again.
Pledis Entertainment announced on June 1 that TWS will officially make their Japanese comeback this summer, with the release of their second Japanese single album, SODA SODA, slated for August 4.
This upcoming release marks the group’s first Japanese project in approximately 13 months. TWS made their official debut in the region last July with their highly successful first single, Hajimemashite (はじめまして).
Upon its release, Hajimemashite proved to be a commercial juggernaut, crowning both the Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly charts in its first week. The debut single also earned a prestigious "Platinum" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), cementing the group's instant star power.
The new single album, SODA SODA, will feature a total of three tracks. True to its title, the project is set to showcase Japanese original tracks overflowing with a refreshing, breezy energy perfectly tailored for the summer season.
Ahead of the album's release, TWS is locked in for a busy summer circuit in Japan. The group is scheduled to perform at Mrs. GREEN APPLE's concert on June 11, followed by a highly anticipated appearance at the premier global music festival SUMMER SONIC 2026 from August 14 to 16. In tandem with these festival dates, TWS is also preparing to embark on their first solo tour.
