&TEAM has recorded their highest ever album shipment volume in Japan.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced the list of Gold Disc certifications (for April) on the 13th. &TEAM received 'Triple Platinum' certification for their 3rd single, 'Go in Blind'.
'Triple Platinum' is one of the certification standards. It is awarded to albums with cumulative shipments exceeding 750,000 copies, based on total album shipments. 'Go in Blind' surpassed 800,000 copies.
With this, &TEAM has had all their physical albums (excluding digital singles) included in the RIAJ certification list. Their first single, second single, and 2nd full album all received 'Double Platinum' certification (500,000 copies).
'Go in Blind' is a work about the passion to forge ahead and pioneer one's own territory. It contains 6 tracks, including the title track of the same name and 'Run Wild'.
With this album, &TEAM topped the Oricon 'Weekly Single Ranking' and 'Weekly Combined Single Ranking' (as of the 5th). They achieved the highest points among male artists this year.
Meanwhile, &TEAM has embarked on their Asia tour, starting in Aichi, Japan, and visiting cities including Tokyo, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Seoul, Jakarta, and Taipei.
