"We're working on it, resting one day a week." (Jimin)
BTS is fully immersed in the creation of a new group album in the United States. On August 17th, the members went live on the global fan platform Weverse to provide an update.
Dressed casually, the members greeted ARMY (the fandom name) from what appeared to be a beach in Los Angeles.
RM said, "We're doing well. We're working hard on the new album. Today is our day off, so we have to get back to work hard starting tomorrow."
Aiming for a comeback next year, the group is on a demanding schedule. Jimin and Jungkook admitted, "It's tedious," and "Working with only one day off a week is tough."
BTS Provides Update, "Just Here to Show Our Faces"
Jin also recently joined the others after wrapping up his fan concert tour. He shared a glimpse into his routine, saying, "I had high expectations, but I just go to morning workouts, then to the studio, eat, and sleep."
Despite their nonstop schedule, the members made time for their fans. "We're honestly just working hard," they said. "This is a life update. We came to show our faces."
They also promised a day when they would meet their fans again. Jungkook concluded the broadcast with a farewell, stating, "Once the new album is ready, we'll give some spoilers," before signing off, "This has been BTS."
Meanwhile, BTS has officially begun work on the album with a target comeback set for spring of next year.
