TOMORROW X TOGETHER successfully renewed their contracts with all five members. Every decision was made for MOA (their fandom name). The group's teamwork has grown stronger, and their love for their fans has become even more passionate.
As always, they repaid that love with a top-tier performance. From their debut song to their solo tracks, the members performed for approximately 180 minutes using handheld microphones, proving the live vocal skills they've honed over the past seven years.
The fans' energy was more explosive than ever. Upon hearing the news of the contract renewal, fans were moved to tears, overwhelmed by the sincerity of TOMORROW X TOGETHER's words. Their group sing-alongs were also on another level.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER held their 4th world tour, "ACT : TOMORROW," at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul, on August 22nd and 23rd. Dispatch attended the final day of the concert.
The Lovers: A Festival of Youth
The first section was a festival in itself. TOMORROW X TOGETHER appeared on the ground floor, riding a bus-shaped moving vehicle. They kicked off the show with "Loser=Lover" and "Wishlist."
The members circled the audience, making eye contact and connecting with fans in every section. When Yeonjun shouted, "Everyone get up!" the entire crowd stood up and started dancing. The group kept the excitement going with refreshing tracks like "9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)," "Blue Orangeade," and "Love Language," filling the venue with a bright atmosphere.
Taehyun laughed, saying, "MOA's energy is great right from the start today." Beomgyu shouted, "From now on, we're going to run without a break. We hope MOA runs with us with all your might!" The mood then shifted as the group performed the more mature and captivating tracks "Danger" and "Upside Down Kiss," melting fans' hearts with their lethal gazes and confident gestures.
Free-Falling: The Pain and Power of Emo-Rock
The theme of the second section was the growing pains of youth. A powerful band sound filled the concert hall as TOMORROW X TOGETHER fueled the setlist with emo-rock stages.
In "Growing Pain," the guitar sound intensified relentlessly. The members performed the synchronized choreography as if their bodies would break, and the energy was further amplified by a burst of fireworks. The stages for "Frost," "Good Boy Gone Bad," and a rock version of "Leaving Neverland" were equally intense. The members moved freely between the main stage and the extended stage, putting on a hip and uninhibited performance.
Sitting on a staircase structure for "Water Run," they sang with explosive volume. The audience was particularly impressed with Hueningkai's emotional high-note ad-lib in the third verse. During "0X1=LOVESONG," they raised the poignant atmosphere even higher, looking overwhelmed by the fans' passionate sing-along, completing a performance that felt like a beautiful narrative of youth.
I, We: The Stage is Their Own
Next, the group performed the solo songs from their 4th full-length album, showcasing their sophisticated individual stages. First, Taehyun showed off his dreamy vocals with "Bird of Night." Soobin chose "Sunday Driver," performing a charming choreography with a bright smile. He explained his choice, saying, "I wanted to do a song that suited me well."
Hueningkai's solo song was "Dance With You." He used a chair in his performance to express a restrained sexiness and drew a high-pitched roar from MOA with his powerful choreography. Yeonjun took the stage for "Ghost Girl," overwhelming the audience with his charismatic gaze and deep vocals. The screen effects, which left lingering images, added to the artistic mood. Beomgyu sang "Take My Half" with his warm voice. He revealed a behind-the-scenes secret, "I wore glasses at the beginning as a cliché so I'd look handsome when I took them off."
A Beautiful Ending with a "Stars' Song"
As the clock ticked on, the concert led into their debut song, "Crown," in a ballad arrangement. The atmosphere became warm and fuzzy as MOA's harmonies blended with the members' voices.
The next stage was their most recent title track, "Beautiful Strangers." As their newest song, it was met with the loudest fanchants. The members responded with an even more intense dance.
"No matter where we are, the fact that the five of us and MOA are together will never change. Please sing with us all together today," Beomgyu said.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER once again expressed their gratitude to their fans for the contract renewal, creating a brilliant memory by singing "Stars' Song" together.
For the encore, they got back on the moving vehicle and performed three more songs: "Magic Island," "Our Summer," and "Cat & Dog." Throughout the songs, they continuously sent messages of love to MOA, leaving a lasting impression on the crowd.
"The biggest reason we could continue under the name TOMORROW X TOGETHER is MOA. Thank you for giving us so much love for so long," Yeonjun said.
