Actor Ryu Seung-ryong is set to portray the bittersweet yet hilarious life journey of a 25-year veteran department head in a major corporation.

On the 30th, JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama, The Story of Department Head Kim Who Lives in Seoul and Works at a Large Corporation (hereafter Kim Bu-jang Story), released stills featuring Ryu Seung-ryong (playing Kim Nak-soo).

The stills capture the intense daily grind of a sales manager, framed by the caption, "Human Documentary Life Theater," underscoring the drama's focus on the harsh reality of office life—a constant cycle of advising subordinates while being subjected to lectures from superiors.

Kim Bu-jang Story tells the tale of a middle-aged man who loses everything in an instant but ultimately discovers his true self.

Ryu Seung-ryong plays Kim Nak-soo, the head of Sales Team 1. After dedicating 25 years to the ACT Corporation, Nak-soo has achieved the title of department head and enjoys a seemingly stable life with his wife and a son attending a prestigious university.

His next goal is to be promoted to an executive position, which requires him to pull off a career-defining move. Ryu Seung-ryong is expected to utilize his signature comedic acting to portray Nak-soo's relentless struggle, delivering a relatable and deeply human story in the process.

Kim Bu-jang Story, written by Kim Hong-gi and directed by Cho Hyun-tak, will premiere on Saturday, October 25th, at 10:40 PM KST.
