Rookie group AHOO has proven its scorching popularity with its debut album.

According to Hanteo Chart, AHOO's first mini-album, 'WHO WE ARE,' sold approximately 369,850 copies within its first week of release (July 1st to 7th).

This achievement places them at 5th all-time for boy group debut album first-week sales, following ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, X1, and Wanna One. Among boy groups that debuted this year, it stands as the highest record.

Chart Success and Concept Appeal

Their digital music performance is also strong, with all tracks entering the Bugs real-time chart. The title track, "Rendezvous," immediately hit No. 1 upon its release.

The music video for the title track surpassed 26.92 million views within a week of its release (as of 4 PM on July 8th), also marking the highest view count among boy groups that debuted this year.

An official stated, "AHOO is garnering empathy with a concept that captures the inner world of boys where anxiety and hope coexist. The members' sincere emotions are melted into the album, and that sincerity seems to have been conveyed to listeners."

They also highlighted the group's musical color, adding, "The title track contains a nostalgic melody from days gone by. This type of music, which is rare in the recent K-Pop market, seems to have driven a positive response."
