Actor Rowoon will be enlisting in the military as an active-duty soldier following the results of a re-examination.
FNC Entertainment announced on August 26th, "Rowoon underwent a re-examination and received an active-duty classification. He will be enlisting on October 27th."
Rowoon was originally scheduled to enlist on July 21st, but during his initial physical examination, he was given a Level 7 classification, which requires a re-examination. He then submitted an appeal and underwent a re-examination earlier this month.
After confirming that there were no issues with the points raised by the Military Manpower Administration, he was approved to serve as an active-duty soldier. There will be no official ceremony on the day of his enlistment. The agency requested, "As it is a location where a large number of soldiers will be present, the site will be private. We ask that fans please refrain from visiting."
The agency concluded by adding, "We ask for your continued support until Rowoon safely completes his service and returns in good health."
Meanwhile, Rowoon will meet with viewers through the upcoming Disney+ series, "Turbid Water," which is scheduled to be released on September 26th.
