The original soundtrack song "Golden" from the Netflix series K-Pop Demon Hunters has reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard charts.

On August 26th, Billboard released a preview of its latest chart (dated August 30th), revealing that "Golden" has once again reached number one on the main Billboard chart, the Hot 100.

The song first entered the Hot 100 on July 3rd at number 81. It steadily climbed the ranks, reaching numbers 23, 6, 4, and 2 before first peaking at number one on the chart dated August 16th. Last week, it had dropped to number two, conceding the top position to U.S. singer-songwriter Alex Warren's debut album title track, "Ordinary."

Billboard noted, "'Golden' has shone once more at the top of the Hot 100 chart, climbing back to the number one spot for a second non-consecutive week."

The Hot 100 chart's rankings are measured by a combination of U.S. streaming data (audio and video), airplay (radio broadcast scores), and sales data. From August 15th to 21st, "Golden" recorded 33.8 million official streams in the U.S., a 3% increase from the previous week. It also maintained the number one spot on the Streaming Songs chart for a fifth consecutive week.

Additionally, other songs from the soundtrack have seen significant success on the charts: Sajaboyz's "Your Idol" and "Soda Pop" ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, while Huntrix's "How It's Done" reached number 10.

With a total of four songs from the series' soundtrack in the Hot 100, Billboard stated, "This is the first time in Billboard history that four songs from a single OST have simultaneously entered the top 10 of the singles chart."
