Actor Jang Dong-joo has parted ways with Nexus E&M.
Nexus E&M confirmed to Dispatch via a phone call on the 17th, "It is true that our exclusive contract with Jang Dong-joo has concluded." The agency has no intention of pursuing a contract extension.
Jang Dong-joo debuted in the 2017 drama 'School 2019.' He subsequently appeared in dramas like 'My Strange Hero' and 'Trigger,' as well as films including 'Honest Candidate,' 'Count,' and 'Handsome Guys.'

Both the actor and the agency have remained silent regarding the reason behind the apology. At the time, the agency released only a brief statement saying, "We apologize for causing concern [to the fans]."
Meanwhile, Jang Dong-joo is set to appear in the new SBS-TV drama 'Starting Today, I Am Human,' which is scheduled to premiere next January.
