“This album is going to shock the world.”
American DJ and powerhouse producer Diplo has officially confirmed his collaboration with BTS. In a recent reveal, Diplo shared that he contributed to the production of the group’s upcoming fifth studio album, titled ARIRANG.
In an exclusive interview with TMZ during the '2026 Fanatics Super Bowl Party,' Diplo opened up about the behind-the-scenes process of working with the global icons.
“I’ve been in the music industry for 30 years, and I feel incredibly lucky to collaborate with such an amazing group and create such great music,” Diplo stated, reflecting on the partnership.
The producer did not hold back his praise for the new project. “To be honest, the whole world is going to be stunned,” he asserted. “It’s the craziest album ever.”
Diplo also highlighted the technical and creative prowess of the members. “The guys are so skilled and incredibly creative,” he noted, describing their talent as “unbelievable.”
He reserved a special mention for Jungkook’s vocal abilities, stating, “Jungkook has a perfect voice that doesn't even need Auto-Tune.” Reflecting on the scale of the collaboration, Diplo added, “This is the biggest project I’ve been a part of to date.”
BTS is scheduled to release ARIRANG on the 20th of next month. Following the release, the group will hold a massive comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on the 21st.
