The global rise of Cortis is showing no signs of slowing down. The group’s upcoming release has already cleared the 2-million-mark in pre-orders, setting the stage for a historic achievement.
According to album distributors YG Plus and Universal Records, pre-orders for Cortis’ second mini-album, 'GreenGreen', reached 2,020,224 copies as of April 13.
This milestone puts the group on track for their second consecutive "Double Million Seller" title, following the massive success of their debut album, Color Outside the Lines, which surpassed 2 million sales within just six months of its release.
Industry analysts are now projecting that Cortis will compete for a spot in the Top 3 highest first-week sales (Chodong) of the year, potentially joining the ranks of titans like BTS (4.16 million) and ENHYPEN (2.07 million).
Global anticipation is equally reflected on digital platforms. On Spotify, pre-saves for GreenGreen have already exceeded 700,000, indicating a massive streaming debut is on the horizon.
GreenGreen explores the themes of what the team aspires to achieve and the boundaries they navigate. The album features six tracks across various genres, spearheaded by the lead single "RedRed."
Cortis is scheduled to drop the pre-release track "RedRed" on April 20, with the full album officially arriving on May 4.
