A Chinese national who allegedly attempted to invade BTS's Jungkook's home is currently under investigation. His agency has stated they are actively cooperating with law enforcement to ensure criminal prosecution.

On June 30th, Big Hit Music provided an update on the legal proceedings concerning malicious defamation, spread of false information, sexual harassment, and insult related to BTS. This included news regarding the recent stalking incident involving Jungkook.

Details of the Incident and Ongoing Investigation

On June 11th, the very day of his military discharge, Jungkook was the victim of an attempted home invasion. A Chinese woman, Ms. A (30s), repeatedly pressed his doorbell and attempted to force entry. Police arrested Ms. A at the scene.

The agency stated, "A police investigation is underway. We are actively cooperating with the police by collecting and submitting evidence, including CCTV footage, to ensure appropriate criminal punishment."

They further emphasized, "We are immediately reporting any stalking behavior directed at BTS members to ensure arrest on the spot, and we are also in the process of filing for restraining orders."

Firm Stance Against Threats and Malicious Content

Big Hit Music has vowed a strong response, declaring, "Actions that threaten BTS's privacy and safety are being handled without leniency. We are thoroughly responding to ensure that members who have completed their mandatory military service do not suffer harm."

The agency is also taking action against malicious commenters. "This quarter, we collected evidence from fan reports, communities, music sites, and social media channels. We have filed complaints against the creators of malicious posts," they revealed.

They also provided an update on ongoing cases, stating, "For cases initiated in the third quarter of last year, punitive results are emerging, with some already resulting in fines. We will continue to respond to ensure positive outcomes for other cases as well."

Finally, Big Hit Music concluded by stating, "The spread of baseless rumors, personal attacks, sexual harassment, and privacy invasion are clear illegal acts. Our agency will continue to do its best to protect the rights and interests of BTS."
