Rookie sensation ILLIT has undeniably cemented their powerhouse status in the Japanese music market, fully selling out every single date of their upcoming Japan tour.
Belift Lab officially announced on June 2 that all general admission reserved tickets for ILLIT’s highly anticipated live tour, PRESS START IN JAPAN, have completely sold out.
The achievement marks a clean sweep across a massive 11-show stadium and arena run. In response to the overwhelming public demand, the agency added, "To accommodate the fierce interest from fans, we have decided to open up additional ticket blocks, including restricted-view seating and standing-room-only sections."
This milestone further fortifies ILLIT’s status as a certified box-office draw. The group has continuously demonstrated immense ticketing power; the Seoul leg of their tour, which kicked off this past March, obliterated its entire inventory during the fan-club pre-sale alone, matching the sold-out status of their debut fan-concert series.
PRESS START represents a major milestone as ILLIT’s first-ever standalone solo tour since their explosive debut. The massive global trek is set to hit seven major cities worldwide, connecting audiences across a route spanning from Seoul all the way to Hong Kong.
The group will officially storm Japan starting with back-to-back shows in Aichi on June 13 and 14. They will then proceed to manipulate crowds in Osaka (June 20–21), Fukuoka (June 29–30), Hyogo (July 18–19), and culminate the Japanese leg with a grand finale block in Tokyo on July 23, 25, and 26.
Meanwhile, ILLIT has been riding an immense wave of domestic and international success with their latest smash single, "It's Me," which ignited a viral techno dance craze across social platforms. The track firmly embedded itself at the top of the domestic music scene, comfortably securing the No. 5 spot on Melon’s highly competitive Monthly Singles Chart for May.
