Actor Kim Soo-hyun has filed his seventh lawsuit against Kim Se-ui, head of the controversial YouTube channel 'Gaseyeon,' this time for perjury on June 23rd.

Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, announced today that "Kim Soo-hyun has filed an additional criminal complaint with the Gangnam Police Station against Kim Se-ui and the family of the late Kim Sae-ron for perjury."
The Allegations and Counter-Allegations

On May 7th, Kim Se-ui held a press conference where he released a recording, purportedly of the late Kim Sae-ron, claiming that "the two had been in a relationship since middle school."

The following day, Kim Se-ui and Kim Sae-ron's family filed a lawsuit against Kim Soo-hyun, alleging violations of the Child Welfare Act, claiming that Kim Soo-hyun engaged in sexual abuse with Kim Sae-ron when she was in her second year of middle school.

Kim Soo-hyun's side has deemed the recording to be a fabrication. His agency explained the reason for the lawsuit: "Kim Se-ui and the family sued Kim Soo-hyun based on a fabricated recording. This is a clear act of perjury."
Previous Legal Actions and Ongoing Investigations

Kim Soo-hyun's legal team has now initiated a total of seven complaints and lawsuits.
On March 20th, a complaint was filed for violating the Special Act on Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (coercion using filmed material, etc.).
On March 24th, a charge of intimidation was filed.
On March 31st, defamation charges were brought.
On April 1st, stalking charges were levied.
Complaints and lawsuits were also filed against the family and a (fake) aunt.

However, the investigations have been slow. Even the summoning of the accused for questioning has not yet occurred. Conversely, the investigations into the complainants are reportedly already complete.

Jang Heung-sik, head of the investigation division, told Dispatch today via phone, "Kim Soo-hyun's investigation has been completed. We are proceeding according to procedure. Although the investigation team was recently changed, [the investigation] is ongoing."

Meanwhile, the Gangnam Police Station is also investigating the three cases where Kim Se-ui and Kim Sae-ron's family filed complaints against Kim Soo-hyun. Investigations into Kim Soo-hyun's side regarding these complaints have not yet taken place.
