Global powerhouses LE SSERAFIM have comfortably conquered the summit of Japan's most prestigious music chart with their highly anticipated new record.
According to the latest charts released by Oricon (dated June 1), LE SSERAFIM’s second studio album, PUREFLOW Pt.1, debuted at No. 1 on the Daily Album Ranking. The album recorded an explosive 68,497 copies sold on its release day alone.
With this latest achievement, LE SSERAFIM has successfully pushed all seven of their Korean-released albums to the absolute summit of the Oricon charts. This milestone cements them as the only fourth-generation K-pop girl group in history to hold such a record.
PUREFLOW Pt.1 also claimed the crown on Billboard Japan’s Download Albums chart for the tracking period spanning May 18 to 24. Furthermore, the album demonstrated immense global longevity by securely anchoring itself in the Top 10 of the US Billboard 200 chart (dated June 6).
Meanwhile, the album's high-octane title track, "BoomPala," is riding a massive upward trajectory on domestic music platforms. The song originally debuted at No. 79 on Bugs on its release day (May 22) and has recently skyrocketed to a peak of No. 15 as word-of-mouth spreads.
Riding this wave of chart-topping momentum, LE SSERAFIM is locked in to headline Japan’s premier music festival, SUMMER SONIC 2026, with highly anticipated performances scheduled for August 14 and 16.
